- Remote sensing and in-situ measurements
- Gondolas with up to 200 kg of scientific payload
- “long duration” flights (at least several days and above active thunderstorm areas)

- Measurements of stratospheric species by in-situ and remote sensing techniques
- Detection of Terrestrial Gamma ray Flashes
- Electric field and magnetic field measurements
- Detection of Transient Luminous Events by fast cameras
